Do not divorce your spouse....GOD'S MARRIAGE LAW

God's law has a legal force. He is an absolute ruler, because He is the Creator of nature. His word is the law for all creatures. So as a human law cannot rescind the gravitation law, it cannot abolish any moral law of God. The marriage law of God is above the human marriage laws. "We must obey God rather than men". Acts.5:29

GOD'S MARRIAGE LAW

1) God joins together a married couple.
"Haven't you read, he replied, that at the beginning the Creator made them male and female, and said, 'For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh'? So they are no longer two, but one. Therefore what God has joined together. let man not separate." Matth.19:4-6

2) God's force binds a couple together until the death of the marriage partner.
"For example, by law a married woman is bound to her husband as long as he is alive, but if her husband dies, she is released from the law of marriage." Rom.7:2
"A woman is bound to her husband as long as he lives. But if her husband dies, she is free to marry anyone she wishes, ...." 1 Cor.7:39

3) Death is a righteous punishment for an adulterer.
"If a man is found sleeping with another man's wife, both the man who slept with her and the woman must die." Deuter.22:22
"Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God! Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God." 1 Cor.6:9-10
"But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practise magic arts, the idolaters and all liars - their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulphur. This is the second death." Rev.21:8

4) To marry a divorced person is an adultery.
"Anyone who divorces his wife and marries another woman commits adultery, and the man who marries a divorced woman commits adultery." Luke 16:18
"Anyone who divorces his wife and marries another woman commits adultery against her. And if she divorces her husband and marries another man, she commits adultery." Mark.10:11-12
"But I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for marital unfaithfulness, causes her to become an adulteress, and anyone who marries the divorced woman commits adultery." Matth.5:32,19:8

5) If you are separated from your marriage partner, you must remain unmarried.
"To the married I give this command ( not I, but the Lord ): A wife must not separate from her husband. But if she does, she must remain unmarried or else be reconciled to her husband. And a husband must not divorce his wife." 1 Cor.7:10-11

6) A premarital sexual intercourse is a crime against the future marriage.
"I married this woman, but when I approached her, I did not find proof of her virginity. If the charge is true and no proof of the girl's virginity can be found, she shall be brought to the door of her father's house and there the men of her town shall stone her to death. She has done a disgraceful thing in Israel by being promiscuous while still in her father's house." Deuter.22:14, 20-21
"But I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for marital unfaithfulness, causes her to become an adulteress, and anyone who marries the divorced woman commits adultery." Matth.5:32
Also this exception was against the will of God, but it was allowed, "because your hearts were hard." Matth.19:8

Jesus Christ joins together love and truth. Because God is Love, he sentences for unloving actions, in other words sins. His judgements and punishments are not unfair, because He is the Truth and the Love in the same person. Because he has great mercy for us, he sent his Son, Jesus to suffer our punishment. Because God wants to forgive, he is patient and waits for the repentance of sinners.

She who divorced her husband, can be reconciled with him. In the same way she who deserted her God, can come back, if she will find the reconciliation. The divorced husband waits faithfully for her homecoming. In the same way God waits faithfully for people until their death to come back to Him, whom they rejected. The whole mankind has divorced God. All people have broken the law of God and are separated from God's covenant. The new covenant is like a new marriage that is available for all sinners, because the old marriage partner died. Jesus represent to us the covenant partner of the old covenant. "So, my brothers, you also died to the law through the body of Christ, that you might belong to another, to him who was raised from the dead." Rom.7:4

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16

What is the greatest pain in Hell? Maybe it is the pain, which Jesus felt on the cross, when he cried: "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" If God forsakes us, it is much more bitter to us than to go through a divorce. Just imagine it! God says these words to you Matth.25:41: "Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels."

The good God doesn't want that you will go through that desertion. Therefore He prepared for you the salvation in Jesus Christ. God doesn't like to desert anybody. For that reason he also hates divorce. "The Lord is acting as the witness between you and the wife of your youth, because you have broken faith with her, though she is your partner, the wife of your marriage covenant. Has not the Lord made them one? In flesh and spirit they are his." "So guard yourself in your spirit, and do not break faith with the wife of your youth. I hate divorce, says the Lord." Mal.2:14-16

Stop and think about this vision in your spirit: Jesus cries out to God, who hates desertion. My God why have you deserted me?! You can answer to the question of Jesus: "OH, JESUS, GOD HAS FORSAKEN YOU FOR MY SINS!"

Jesus himself will turn to you and give you his mercy and the heavenly peace. Though He died, the death could not own him, because he didn't commit any sin and "the wages of sin is death". Because he lives you can meet him after you receive him as your Redeemer. You can hear in your spirit his words:: "Take heart, your sins are forgiven." Jesus is able to make you happy in a marriage or alone, but never in a sin. Living with Jesus is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
